Privacy policy
Effective October 22, 2026 · CHENAULT COMMERCE LLC
Who we are
CHENAULT COMMERCE LLC operates chenaultcommerce.store. This policy describes information processed through this website and customer-care email. The site currently supports product browsing, option selection and shopping bags, with no active payment integration or advertising pixels configured as part of this launch.
Information we collect
- Enquiries: your email address, name if supplied, message content and any product or order details you choose to send.
- Technical information: hosting and security services may process IP address, browser and device data, requested URLs, access time, error information and security events.
- Site operation: WordPress and WooCommerce may use essential session, login and preference cookies when the relevant features are used.
- Future orders: when ordering opens, we may collect contact, billing and delivery information, selected products, transaction status and customer-care history. Any new payment processing will be disclosed before collection. We do not currently collect card details through this site.
Why information is used
We use information to provide the catalog, answer requests, maintain security, troubleshoot, comply with applicable obligations and establish or defend legal claims. If orders are enabled, information will also be used to process and fulfill them, provide delivery updates and handle returns. We do not use enquiry messages for unrelated marketing without an applicable basis.
Service providers and disclosures
Hostinger provides website hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce provide site software, and Zoho provides the business email service. These services may process information needed to perform their roles. Product images may be loaded from the image host shown in the page source; requesting an external image can disclose your IP address, browser information and referring page to that host. Our catalog currently uses product-image URLs hosted through Namu Shop/Shopify. When enabled, carriers and payment processors will receive the information needed for delivery and payment. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights and security, or during a business transfer with appropriate protections.
Sale, sharing and advertising
We do not sell personal information for money, rent enquiry lists, or use cross-context behavioral advertising integrations in this launch. No optional advertising or analytics tags are deliberately configured in the theme. If this changes, we will update this policy and obtain or provide the choices required by law before adding applicable tracking. Essential hosting/security logs are separate from advertising tracking.
Cookies and browser signals
Essential cookies may support secure login, sessions, preferences and cart-related features. Blocking them may affect those features. The theme does not install optional tracking cookies. We do not use Do Not Track signals to change essential operations. We honor applicable Global Privacy Control opt-out signals for any sale or sharing subject to such signals; currently no such advertising use is enabled. You may manage cookies through your browser settings. We will present a consent choice before using nonessential tracking when required.
Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose. Routine enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after resolution unless needed for an active issue. If orders launch, transaction and tax records may be retained for up to seven years or the period required by applicable obligations. Hosting and security log retention follows the relevant operational settings and provider controls. Backups may retain a limited copy until their rotation completes. We review retention and delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful exceptions.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete information, obtain a copy where applicable, withdraw optional consent, or object to certain processing by emailing customer care. Depending on your location and the law’s applicability, rights may also include knowing categories and sources, opting out of sale or sharing, limiting certain sensitive-data uses, and using an agent. We do not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights. We may reasonably verify a request to protect your information, but please do not send identity documents unless a secure process has been agreed. We aim to acknowledge requests within ten business days and respond within 45 calendar days, or the applicable shorter deadline. Any allowed extension and its reason will be communicated. You may appeal a decision or complain to your relevant privacy regulator.
Security and international processing
We use hosting security controls, limited administrative access and HTTPS when available on the requested domain. No system is entirely risk-free. Providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate, under applicable safeguards and their service arrangements. Please do not send passwords, full card numbers or unnecessary sensitive information by email.
Children and sensitive information
The store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s information or request sensitive personal information for browsing. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice where required. New processing will be described before or when it begins.
